About Me:
I am a happily married mother of 2 daughters; 7 and 4 months, and son (6) . I work from home part-time with my husband of 12 years in our own business although I am qualified as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
I am fortunate to have the flexibility that a SAHM has for participating in blogs & online forums frequently, meeting deadlines and setting creative challenges.
I am friendly, empathetic, encouraging.

I have been scrapbooking since late 2005, becoming really addicted about 9 months after that. I now see creativity as a way of life.
I scrapbook because…..
- It is great therapy – I let off steam! I am not afraid to make honest, heartfelt stuff all about me!
- It is how I lose myself – I love to play and make art just for the sake of it.
- I like to focus my creative energies on preserving the moments of my family's lives - both celebratory & mundane
- My style is eclectic: a mix of artsy shabby/grungy but I have also created many simple/graphic layouts.
- I love mixing new products with old.
- My work usually features: distressing, inking, hand-cutting patterned paper, layering & clustering of elements.
- I love using my Cuttlebug, crackle paint, dimensional magic, alcohol inks, twinkling H2O’s and inks, embossing and stamping, gesso, texture paste, rubons, and puff paint.
- The size of my layouts also vary: whilst predominantly 12 x12 and 8x11, I have also produced layouts that are 6x6, 8x8, 6x12, and 10 x 12.
- I have completed several mini-albums, and love altering old books, and playing with ephemera. I also love making ATC’s, for a fun creative fix!
